SELF SERVICE GUIDE

LEAKING

  • First, turn on hot and cold water and check if faucet is leaking.
  • Check if top of sink is leaking.
  • Check if drain pipe is leaking.
  • Check each part of purifier connection for leaks.
  • Check for any leakage on refrigerator
    1. Check for leakage on refrigerator connecting tube staple
    2. Check refrigerator and tube connection.
    3. Check for any leakage on refrigerator itself.

LITTLE WATER OR NO WATER

  • Check the following:
    1. Check for leakage on refrigerator connecting tube staple
    2. Check refrigerator and tube connection.
  • Turn off the tank valve and check if purifier works properly.
  • If purifier works properly (the amount of water from the purifier is the same as usual), please check the tank. In this case, the problem might lie with the tank.
    1. Check water level in the tank. (Check whether it is heavy or light)
    2. Drain all water and shake the tank.
      1. If water still remains in the tank and makes any kind of splashing sound, or it is not drained and the weight of the tank is heavier than usual, there is a Diaphragm problem In this case, the tank should be replaced.
      2. If water still remains in the tank and does not make any splashing sound, there is a pressure problem inside the tank.
      3. If the water drains completely, the tank is in normal condition.
  • If purifier does not work properly (amount of water from the purifier is less than usual):
    1. Check tap water pressure – whether it might be too low. (If water pressure is lower than 50 PSI, adjust Water Pressure Regulator to 60-70 PSI.)
    2. If water pressure is normal, check if the amount of water flowing to Feed Line is normal.
    3. Check amount of waste water coming through drain. (If it is too little, there is a problem with the Membrane.)
  • Looseness of Faucet Lever can reduce quantity of water from purifier.
  • If a leak stop system is installed and there is any leakage in sink cabinet, the system discontinues water flow to the purifier. This may cause the problem.

HOW TO USE PURIFIER AFTER THE SERVICE

  • After routine maintenance, please turn off ice maker (and leave off) for 2 -3 hours if purifier is connected to refrigerator.
  • Completely drain water in tank 2 -3 hours after replacement of Membrane or Post Filter and then use purifier
  • Changing the location of purifier by yourself, may twist Feed Line and cause problem in producing pure water.

HOW TO REPLACE FILTER

OLD TYPE

  • Turn off the tank valve and turn Purifier Faucet Lever on and check the amount of purified water coming through the Purifier Faucet
  • Turn on tank valve and drain water inside tank completely. It is more efficient to fill tank with air with air pump as the water is drained.
  • Take purifier out and turn off Feed Line Stop Valve
  • Check for any water leakage on sink, drain pipe, and other places before replacing filter.
  • Open Filter Housing and replace filter (Sediment-1, Carbon-2)
  • When replacing Membrane, Post Filter, Shut Off Valve, you must turn off tank valve
  • Turn on Feed Line Stop Valve
  • heck and tighten every fitting of Filter Housing.
  • After all water in tank is drained, adjust tank pressure (about 7.0 psi).
  • Turn on Faucet and check if purifier works properly
  • Turn on tank valve
  • Check for any water leakage on Purifier
  • Make sure Stop Valve on Feed Line and tank Valve are on.
  • When Membrane or Post Filter is replaced, wait at least 2 hours and then completely drain water in tank for using purifier again

CHANGING THE FILTERS FOR PURI5

  • Turn off the tank valve and turn Purifier Faucet Lever on and check the amount of purified water coming through the Purifier Faucet
  • Turn on tank valve and drain water inside tank completely. It is more efficient to fill tank with air with air pump as the water is drained.
  • Take purifier out and turn off Feed Line Stop Valve
  • Check for any water leakage on sink, drain pipe, and other places before replacing filter.
  • Rotate the filter 1/4 turn counter clockwise for disposal and replace it in reverse order.
  • Turn on Feed Line Stop Valve
  • After all water in tank is drained, adjust tank pressure(about 7.0 psi).
  • Turn on Faucet and check if purifier works properly
  • Turn on tank valve
  • Check for any water leakage on Purifier
  • Make sure Stop Valve on Feed Line and tank Valve are on.
  • When Membrane or Post Filter is replaced, wait at least 2 hours and then completely drain water in tank for using purifier again

INSTRUCTION FOR AFTER INSTALLATION

  • Only for using water purifier
    1. The tank capacity is 2 gallons and it takes about 1 hour to fill the tank with purified water.
    2. After the tank is filled for the first time after the installation, please drain the water once completely through the Faucet and refill the tank to begin use.
  • Using water purifier connecting to refrigerator
    1. The tank capacity is 2 gallons and it takes about 1 hour to fill the tank with purified water.
    2. After the tank is filled for the first time after the installation, please drain the water once completely through the Faucet and refill the tank to begin use.
    3. Wait for an hour after Step 2 and turn the ice maker on. You should discard the first batch of ice and the first 5-6 cups of water from the water dispenser.
  • Using water purifier connecting to refrigerator
    1. After 2 hours from installation, turn the switch on Hot & Cold dispenser.
    2. Turn on the Faucet at least 7 minutes and drain the water once completely through the Faucet
    3. After 1 hours, drain the hot water of 1/2 gallon and the cold water of 1 gallon, then you can drink water from the dispenser.
    4. If the purifier is connected to a refrigerator, wait for an hour after Step 3 and turn the ice maker on. You should discard the first batch of ice and the first 5-6 cups of water from the water dispenser.
