Q. Can I remove and re-install bidet myself?
You can easily remove or reinstall it by yourself, but be sure to drain the water out completely before moving it. Also, do not plug in the power supply when the bidet body is upside down. Or call our customer service at (☎800-222-5502) to schedule an appointment. Service is free for all the rental customers. for purchase customers, there is a separate fee for service. Please check our website or customer center for more information.

Q. Water is soft, but water doesn't have that slippery feel to it.
Water softeners remove calcium and magnesium ions by exchanging them for sodium or potassium ions. Two factors contribute to that slippery-when-wet feeling you get after soaping up with soft water. If you feel the water is hardly slippery,

  1. Check if the salt in the brine tank is decreasing
  2. Check if the water softener is powered on

If no other issue found, you can try forcing regeneration. It may take up to two hours, and make sure not to use water during regeneration. If there is no change in water condition after regeneration, please call our customer service at (☎800-222-5502)to schedule an appointment.

Q. Is it OK to drink water from a water softener?
Soft water is harmless to humans, but it is not for drinking purpose. We recommend using water purifier with a reverse osmosis filtering system.
Q. Salt level not decreasing in water softener
If the brine tank salt level is not going down it means that no salt is being used. Most likely this is caused by a hard salt crust, also called “salt bridge“, that has formed in the bottom of the tank. The bridge prevents salt from falling down and dissolving in the water to form brine. At the same time, most if not all salt underneath the bridge is already gone. If too little salt gets dissolved the resin can’t regenerate and will eventually stop softening. You can easily test for this by trying to push a broom handle all the way down to the bottom of the salt tank. If you can’t then you have encountered a bridge. Carefully crush the bridge and all large clumps with the broom handle or whatever blunt tool you have at hand. Then start a manual regen cycle so that your water softener can finally recharge.
Q. Water softener is leaking
If your water softener shows any signs of leakages

  1. Check every component: Tanks, hoses, valves, O-rings.
  2. Bypass the system
  3. Contact our customer service at (☎800-222-5502).
Q. Can a water softener be moved to new place?
A Water softener becomes part of your house from the moment it is installed. Moving costs may be higher than the purchase price, so it’s not suitable for transferring the system to another place. Please contact our customer service at (☎800-222-5502) if you need further assistance.
Q. What is Reverse Osmosis?
Reverse osmosis is a process that removes foreign contaminants, solid substances, large molecules and minerals from water by using pressure to push it through specialized membranes. This is the world’s most preferred water purification system. If there is no water pressure, clean water (water with a low concentration) purified by osmosis will move to the water with a high concentration. The water is pushed through the semipermeable membrane. This membrane filter has a lot of pores, tiny as 0.0001 microns, which can filter about 99% of contaminants such as bacteria (approximately-1 micron), tobacco smoke (0.07 micron, viruses (0.02-0.04 micron), etc. And only pure water molecules pass through it.
Please check our Aqua-Life website (www.aqualifewater.com > whyaqua-life > reverseosmosis) for more detail.
Q. Reverse osmosis acidifies our body due to its low pH. Is it true?
It is impossible to neutralize or change the constitution of the human body. Acidity is expressed in pH (pH) and ranges from 1.0 to 14.0. The solution is measured in pH (pH) and the middle of the dimension, 7.0, is called neutral, and less than 7.0 is called acid and more than 7.0 is called alkali. Body tissue fluid has a pH of 7.32-7.45 and a very high buffering capacity, so it is always human physiology to keep the pH between 7.35-7.45 no matter how much acid or alkali is mixed. Purified water has a slightly lower pH than neutral water, and it is a water that does not have any problem because it meets the drinking water standard which is (pH 5.8 to 8.5).

Q. What exactly are minerals and how much are needed?
Minerals are the natural materials in which the metals and their compounds are found in earth. There are minerals such as germanium, iron, and manganese, and these minerals flow into the ground and are slowly dissolved in stones or rocks and the water. These minerals are essential for all living things. The types and amounts of minerals needed by the human body are continuously being researched. Essential minerals that are usually required in large amounts are sodium (Na), calcium (Ca), phosphorus (P), magnesium (Mg), potassium (K), sulfur (S), chlorine (Cl), manganese (Mn), Iodine (I), aluminum (Al), iron (Fe), zinc (Zn), copper (Cu), selenium (Se), chromium (Cr), nickel (Ni), and pullulor (F). They are inorganic nutrients but are necessary for our body. But there are also many harmful minerals as well. Major harmful elements are arsenic (As), cadmium (Cd), palladium (Pd), mercury (Hg), uranium (U), antimony (Sb), barium (Ba), beryllium (Be), bismuth (Bi) Etc. Therefore, lots of minerals are not always good. In the context of nutrition, a mineral is a chemical element required as an essential nutrient by organisms to perform functions necessary for life. Most of these minerals in human diet come from eating healthy foods such as fruits, vegetables, meat, etc. You can find more information at the Aqua-Life website . (www.aqualifewater.com > blog > water&health)
Q. Is demineralized water bad for health?
That’s totally a misconception about water. Frequently, water containing a lot of minerals such as iron, magnesium, and calcium is advertised as healthy water. However, such inorganic minerals can only be absorbed by plants. This is because minerals, being elements, cannot be synthesized biochemically by living organisms. Excessive intake of inorganic substances can accumulate in the kidneys, arteries, and blood and cause serious diseases such as atherosclerosis, kidney stones, stones in the gallbladder or joints. Water contains both organic and inorganic minerals, and humans need only 1% of organic minerals out of all minerals. It doesn’t make sense to consume large amounts of impure inorganic minerals in order to consume small amounts of organic minerals. In today’s polluted environment, Pure and clean water is the best water.

There is no difference at all. Aqua-life’s Water System uses the same water purification system used by most well-known water companies. That means you can drink the same quality of drinking water as the bottled waters. However, everyone has different opinions and preferences about the taste and brand.
The difference in pure and clean water is the difference in filter technology!

Q. Tasty water vs. safe drinking water?
You might think that water doesn’t have much flavor. Taste is subjective and influenced by both your own biology and the water source. The taste of water can vary depend on temperature too.
Talking about the taste or quality of water and drinking safe water are two different subjects. Safe drinking water can only be defined as an uncontaminated natural environment or drinking water that does not contain heavy metals, carcinogens, harmful chemicals, bacteria, and viruses qualified under criteria suggested by WHO (World Health Organization).
Even with today’s highly developed science, it is hard to determine which ingredients are for the best taste of water. But one thing for sure, the water we drink must be free of harmful ingredients. You can find more information at the Aqua-Life website (www.aqualifewater.com > whyaqualife > bettervalue or blog > water&health)
Q. How much water should I drink per day?
Aqua-Life does not recommend drinking water with a certain number of cups, liters, gallons, or bottles per day. It is more important to consciously try to drink more water. Get into the habit of drinking pure and clean water.
You can find more information at the Aqua-Life website (www.aqualifewater.com > whyaqualife > betterhealth or blog > water&health)
Q. What is the preferred way to replenish water? Can I drink tea or soda?
Beverages such as milk, juice and herbal teas are composed mostly of water. Even caffeinated drinks such as coffee and soda can contribute to your daily water intake. Of course, water can be come from the meals or food we eat.
Caffeinated drinks such as coffee will provide a quick boost, but you’re ultimately depriving your system. In the end, releases more water from your body. Soft drinks, such as soda and juice, also help replenish moisture, but they contain many additives and sugars. Obviously, this is not good for the health. Therefore, the most desirable way for us to replenish water is to drink pure and clean water, because it’s calorie-free, inexpensive and readily available.

Q. Is it necessary to change your refrigerator water filter regularly?
Absolutely. Even filters built into the refrigerator should be replaced every six months to a year. If you have been using water and ice through the refrigerator for more than a year without changing the filter, it is just like drinking tap water. Fortunately, if your fridge is connected to our Aqua-Life’s water purifier, refrigerator filters do not need to be replaced.
Q. What is the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) standard?
NSF International was founded in 1944 from the University of Michigan’s School of Public Health as the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) to standardize sanitation and food safety requirements. In 1968, NSF began to create standards for water purifiers under the auspices of the US Department of Drinking Water, which are tested with standards for health hazards and all contaminants regulated by EPA. NSF’s standards for water purifiers generally include all aspects of product stability, design, construction, method of operation and labeling.
Q. Why do you call a water purifier a managed product, not a sale product?
The most important consideration when choosing a water purifier in Southern California is “Is there a membrane filter that can filter out the hardness?” and more importantly “Is there a company with reliable management and service systems?” Because even a good reverse osmosis water purifier can harm your health if you don’t receive consistent care. The key to choosing a water purifier service provider is the management and service that can maintain the use of pure and clean water as always it is like new.
